Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Limited is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist (Miller) for a permanent role in a modern Birmingham facility, producing high-precision components for tight tolerances across high-spec industries. You will work with multi-axis CNC milling and mill-turn machinery, setting, operating and programming to engineering drawings.

The role offers a 39-hour week on-site, a stable, long-term position and opportunities to contribute to quality, safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Proven CNC milling experience: setting, operating and programming.
• Strong ability to read engineering drawings and work to tight tolerances.
• Quality-focused with good communication and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Set, operate and programme 3-, 4- and 5-axis CNC milling and mill-turn machines.
• Manufacture precision components to engineering drawings and work order specifications.
• Tooling selection, speeds/feeds, and completing production documentation.
• Dimensional inspection using manual measuring equipment and (where applicable) CMM.
• Permanent, on-site role based in Birmingham (39hours per week).
