Job summary

Industrious Recruitment is seeking a machine operator/production worker for a CNC milling department on a temp-perm basis. The role runs Mon-Thu, 6am–4:15pm, supporting production targets while adhering to safety and quality standards.

You will interpret drawings, set up and operate CNC Mills, load/unload parts, monitor performance, perform safety and quality checks, and assist other departments as required to ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities

• Operate a wide range of CNC Mills as trained.
• Interpret engineering drawings.
• Load and unload machines safely and efficiently.
• Monitor machine performance and report faults.
• Complete safety checks prior to operating CNC machines.
• Carry out quality checks and report issues.
• Read quality checking equipment and perform tool changes as trained.
• Make offset adjustments as required.
• Maintain clean, safe workspace; manage swarf.
• Provide support to other departments as needed.
