Spider is advertising on behalf of a leading engineering company seeking an experienced CNC Milling Operator to join their team in Woodbridge, Suffolk on a full-time permanent basis.

About The Role

The CNC Milling Operator will work primarily with Horizontal Milling Machines using Fanuc and Haas control systems. Reporting to the Machine Shop Supervisor and Head of Machining, you'll ensure the quality and precision of products. The role involves working 37 hours per week, Monday - Thursday 8:30am - 4:30pm, and Friday 8:30am - 4:00pm.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Interpret detailed technical drawings and specifications, adhering to tight tolerances.
• Programme, set, and operate CNC Horizontal and Vertical milling machines with expertise.
• Edit and verify programmes using your programming knowledge, especially in Fanuc and Haas systems.
• Machining exotic materials such as Duplex, Super Duplex, Aluminium Bronze, Inconel, Monel, Titanium, and Stellite.
• Focus on small batches and one-off pieces, ensuring high-quality finishes.
