Company Profile:

An established specialist, subcontract manufacturer of precision machined components to various industry sectors, certified to AS9100 and ISO9001 standards with capabilities in CNC Milling, CNC Turning, EDM, and Subcontract Inspection. They are experiencing considerable growth and expansion.

Job Profile:

Due to growth, expansion, and re-investment into modern CNC Machine Tools, there are now openings for experienced CNC Machinists in the Milling department. The successful CNC Miller will be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to communicate clearly with the team. You should have at least 3 years of experience in CNC Milling and be competent in setting and operating 5-axis CNC machining centres.

Duties:

• Setting and operating 5-axis CNC machining centres with Heidenhain controls (experience not essential).
• Producing small, complex components to exacting tolerances and quality standards.
• Involvement in continuous improvement processes.
• Machining metals such as aluminium, titanium, super alloys, steels, and plastics like acetyl, PEEK, and nylon.

Skills & Experience:

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Proven experience in setting and operating 5-axis CNC mills, preferably with Heidenhain controls.
• Essential experience in 5-axis milling.

Hours of Work:

• 40 hours per week.
• 8 am to 4 pm, Monday to Friday.
• Overtime available and regular, 5 to 10+ hours per week, paid at 1.5x rate.
