Job summary

Nuclearinst in West Drayton is seeking a CNC Miller Programmer/Setter (3-Axis Hurco) to lead the production of high-precision, one-off prototypes and short-batch components.

You will program, set, and operate 3-axis Hurco mills, inspect parts to tight tolerances per AS9100, and work with the team to improve cycle times and tooling efficiency. Days shift, £22–£24 per hour with overtime opportunities and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience as CNC Miller Programmer and Setter on Hurco controls.
• Experience in AS9100 or ISO9001 environments.
• Apprentice trained or Time-Served with NVQ/City & Guilds preferred.

Responsibilities

• Program, set, and operate 3-axis Hurco milling machines using WinMax/Hurco controls.
• Manufacture low-volume, complex components to tight tolerances.
• Self-inspect your work to uphold AS9100 aerospace quality standards.
• Collaborate with the team to improve cycle times and tooling efficiency.
