Job summary
Workforce Recruitment and Training in Havant is seeking an experienced CNC Miller Programmer to join the manufacturing team. You will produce precision components on Hurco VM2 and Hurco 60 machines, mainly aluminium and steel, typically in small batches of 3–5.
You will read technical drawings, use inspection equipment, and record production data through the shop-floor ERP system. Hurco experience is NOT essential – full training will be provided; we’re looking for strong CNC milling experience
Qualifications
- CNC milling and programming experience.
- Ability to read technical drawings.
- Confident using measuring/inspection equipment.
- Good maths and attention to detail.
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
- Good problem-solving skills and a can-do attitude.

Responsibilities
- Machining precision components on Hurco VM2 and Hurco 60 machines.
- Produce aluminium and steel parts, typically in small batches of 3–5.
- Use inspection equipment and record production data in the ERP system.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, ensuring dimensional accuracy.
- Learn with full training where Hurco experience is not essential.
