Job summary

Optical Precision is seeking a skilled CNC 3 Axis Miller to join our precision machining team. You will program, set and operate 3-axis milling machines with Heidenhain or Fanuc controls, and perform offline programming using Vero Visi. The role requires producing parts to tight tolerances and ensuring high quality standards.

Experience with AS9100 quality standards and an apprentice-trained background are highly valued, along with good teamwork to thrive in our fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experienced CNC 3 Axis Miller Programmer Setter using Heidenhain or Fanuc controls.
• Offline programming experience using Vero Visi; other software considered.
• Experience working to tight tolerances to AS9100 standards.
• Apprentice trained/time served engineer preferred.
• Good teamwork skills.

The Company

A well established manufacturer of high quality precision injection mouldings are looking for a CNC 3 Axis Miller, Programmer, Setter with Offline Programming experience to join their team. The company provide precision mouldings to a wide range of industries including aerospace and automotive in their modern and fast paced machining facility.

The Role - CNC 3 Axis Miller

As a successful CNC 3 Axis Miller you\'ll be responsible for manufacturing 1 off and short batch parts and components to tight tolerances, experience of Die and mould tooling is preferable.

Duties - CNC 3 Axis Miller

• Program, Set and Operate CNC 3 Axis Micron Milling Machines on Heidenhain or Fanuc Controls.


• Offline Programming on Vero Visi software however other software experience will be considered.


• Machining to very tight tolerances and ensuring quality.

Requirements - CNC 3 Axis Miller

• Experienced CNC 3 Axis Miller Programmer Setter using Heidenhain or Fanuc controls.


• Offline programming experience using Vero Visi (other software will be considered).


• Must have experience with working to tight tolerances to AS9100 standards.


• Ideally apprentice trained/time served engineer.


• Good teamwork skills.
