• Must be able to program directly from drawings using MDI.
• Prior experience in CNC machining is essential.
• Must be able to start immediately.

Responsibilities

• Program CNC machines using Siemens or Heidenhain systems.
• Conduct daily housekeeping of the machine.
• Perform self-inspections on completed work.

Job description

We need an experienced CNC miller programmer setter operator to join a manufacturer in New Addington, Croydon. Pay: Up to £38,000 per year.
Working hours: 37.5 hrs/week; Monday-Thursday 7am-3.30pm and Friday 7am-12.30pm.

You must be able to program using Siemens Shopmill 828D or Heidenhain directly from drawings using MDI. The role includes daily housekeeping of the machine and conducting self-inspections.

We are a specialist manufacturing engineering SME serving high-reliability sectors such as nuclear, defence, and aerospace. We design and manufacture detector products for various applications in the UK and export markets.

Candidates must have prior experience in CNC machining. Please note, this role is not suitable for individuals requiring extensive training; the successful candidate must be able to start immediately. Additionally, our location is within the ULEZ zone.
