Job description

CNC Miller Programmer

Our client designs, manufactures and supports world-class continuous compounding solutions for highly filled, temperature sensitive applications. We are currently assisting a key client to secure an experienced CNC Miller Programmer to join their established team in Greater Manchester.

Key skills required of a CNC Miller Programmer:

  1. Over 5 years experience working as a CNC Miller Programmer
  2. CNC Machining - Horizontal Borers / Machining Centres
  3. Ability to write CNC programs from scratch, identify and solve problems
  4. Must be able to work to a high level of quality
  5. Able to read engineering drawings
  6. Able to work in a safe manner in line with the company's Health & Safety policies

Qualifications:
  1. Educated to NVQ Level 3 (Skilled Status, timed served)
  2. Willing to continue to study to NVQ L4 or higher

Responsibilities:
The successful CNC Miller Programmer will be responsible for manufacturing components on the production schedule to the drawing specifications within set timescales. In return, my client is offering excellent salary and benefits, free on-site parking, career progression, and company incentives.

Hours: Over 3 shift systems including days, late's and nights (excellent shift allowance offered).
