CNC Miller Programmer

Salary/Rate: £18 per hour + 6% hourly bonus!

Venatu is proud to announce that a leading precision engineering client of ours based in Rotherham is now looking to expand their successful business! They specialize in high-quality CNC machining for various industries such as Oil & Gas, Medical, Heavy and many more, supplying some of the country's largest firms with the highest level of machining! Due to continued growth and expansion, they're looking for a skilled CNC Miller Programmer who is familiar with HURCO or FANUC controls to join them ASAP! If you have experience in Fanuc and Hurco controls and are looking for a new challenge, we want to hear from you!

This is a full-time role paying circa £18 ph + 6% hourly bonus! This is a shift role with working hours of:

Week 1 - 6.30am - 3pm - Monday - Thursday, 6.30am - 2pm - Friday

Week 2 - 2.30pm - 11pm - Monday - Thursday, 1pm - 8.30pm - Friday

Duties include:

• Programming, setting, and operating CNC Milling
• Working with Fanuc and Hurco controls
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings
• Ensuring high standards of quality and precision
• Optimizing machining processes for efficiency
• Performing quality checks and basic machine maintenance

Requirements of a CNC Miller:

• Proven experience in CNC milling (setting, operating, and editing programs)
• Strong knowledge of Fanuc and Hurco controls
• Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
• Experience in a precision engineering environment
• Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
