Job Title: CNC Miller or Turner Programmer, Heidenhain, Siemens, Fanuc

Job Details:

• Type: Permanent
• Overtime: x1.5, x2 on Sundays
• Shifts: Rotating 3 shifts (6am - 2pm, 2pm - 10pm, 10pm - 6am, Monday to Friday)
• Salary: From £17.16/hr + 35% Shift Allowance
• Bonus: Additional £1.50/hr for running two machines
• Benefits: 10% Employer pension contribution, 3 months’ salary review, Annual Bonus

Company Overview:

Based in Oldham, our client specializes in complex assemblies, bespoke and batch fabricated & machined components for sectors including oil & gas, subsea, nuclear, aerospace, defence, and rail.

Role Responsibilities:

• Programming, setting, and operating 3-axis with rotary table & 5-axis milling machines
• Operating machines such as Soraluce floor borers, Doosan horizontal borers, Elgamill, Mazak & Hartford VMC
• Performing dimensional and visual inspections with appropriate measuring tools
• Utilizing CAD/CAM software (available for suitable candidates)
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

Candidate Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role
• Proficient in 3 & 5-axis programming
• Full knowledge of Fanuc, Siemens, or Heidenhain controls
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Committed to quality and producing high standards
• Experience working with tight tolerances and deadlines
• Flexible with working hours and overtime
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
