Job Description:

To assist with project demand over the coming weeks, we are looking for qualified CNC Miller Machinists to support our Production and Inspection team on a contractor basis to ensure complex components are machined to high quality standards and meet deadlines.

If you have experience working with Matsuura, DMG, and Colchester 3-axis and 5-axis machines, and possess a working knowledge of Fanuc and Heidenhain controls, and can start immediately, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Fully machine parts as required using 3-axis and 5-axis VMCs.
2. Ensure the quality of parts is to a high standard.
3. Load offline programs and liaise with the production engineer to optimize setup.
4. Save all programs and setup sheets after every job.
5. Assist shift leaders and engineers with tooling or material requirements.
6. Operate machines, tools, and equipment safely.
7. Maintain workshop standards and keep machines clean at all times.
