Job summary

Labman Automation Ltd is seeking an experienced CNC Miller Machinist to join their team in Stokesley. You will manufacture bespoke systems, write CNC programs, and work on high-impact robotics projects. Qualifications

  • At least 5 years’ turning experience.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings to ISO 9001 Quality Standard.
  • Previous experience with calibration of measuring equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Manufacturing parts for bespoke systems to a high quality.
  • Writing programs using ONE CNC.
  • Running milling and routing machines.

Position: CNC Miller Machinist

Location: Labman HQ, Stokesley, North Yorkshire

Salary: From £34,000 + based on experience

We are seeking enthusiastic, initiative-taking, Experienced CNC Miller Machinist to join our dynamic workforce.

What you will do:
  • Manufacturing parts for bespoke systems to a high quality
  • Writing programs using ONE CNC.
  • Running milling, and routing machines
  • Working with companies and public bodies across the world
  • Working with a highly talented multifunctional team
  • Training colleagues to use machinery
Essential Capabilities
  • At least 5 years’ turning experience
  • Able to work unsupervised and interpret engineering drawings to ISO 9001 Quality Standard
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Previous experience carrying out Quality Control checks
  • Previous experience with calibration of measuring equipment
  • Previous experience writing programs
Desirable Skills / Experience
  • Experience programming or operating any of the following:
    • Haas CNC mills (VF5, 3P)
    • CNC Router (Texcel, CNC dynamics)
    • XYZ Protrak controller
  • Ability to create drawings from SolidWorks assemblies
  • Experience costing jobs
  • Experience training colleagues
  • Experience/willing to expand skill to fabrication
