Job summary

South West Recruitment Ltd is recruiting a fully skilled CNC Miller to join an established engineering client in Verwood, Dorset. Setting and operating positions are available. Basic pay up to £23.00 per hour for fully skilled with programming; up to £17.00 for semi-skilled (setting and operating only).

Overtime is available at x1.33 (up to £30.66 ph). Night shifts offer a premium (x1.33 £30.66 ph) with a proposed timetables Thursday 3:45pm - 1:15am.

Qualifications

• Setting and operating 5 axis machines.
• Editing programs in Fanuc language.
• Experience with Mazak or Heidenhain controls.
• Off line programming using G Code (not essential).
• Off line programming using Edgecam and Catia (not essential).
• Designing and making tooling and producing work instructions.

Job description

Occasional Overtime Available at x 1.33 (up to £30.66 ph)

Days:

Monday to Thursday 7.30am - 4.30pm, Friday 7.30am - 12.30pm

Night shift possibilities with shift premium (x1.33 £30.66 ph)

3::45pm - 1:15am Thursday

Skills Required:

• Setting and Operating 5 axis machines.
• Editing programs as required in Fanuc language.
• If you only operate controls such as Mazak or Heidenhain

Desired Skills:

• Programming off line and at the machine using G Code. (not essential)
• Off line Programming using Edgecam and Catia. (not essential)
• Designing and Making tooling.
• Producing work instructions and check sheets.
