A leading high-precision engineering company in Newcastle-under-Lyme is seeking an experienced CNC Miller to join their team. The role involves programming and operating 5-axis CNC milling machines for the Motorsport and Aerospace industries. Ideal candidates will have experience with CAD/CAM software, strong communication skills, and a commitment to quality work. This is a full-time, permanent position with working hours from Monday to Friday.

Contek Recruitment are currently working with a high-precision engineering company, based inNewcastle-under-Lyme.Our client are specialists in the manufacture of machined parts and components, predominantly for the Motorsport/Formula 1 and Aerospace industries.
Our client are nowactively looking for an experiencedCNC Millerto join their growing team on a full-time, permanent basis.
Working Hours:Monday to Thursday (07:30until 16:30) and Friday (07:30 until 12:30)
Key Responsibilities:

  • Program, set up, and operate a range of 5-axis Mazak & Matsuura CNC milling machines to produce precision components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Programming offline using Fusion 360 CAD/CAM software.
  • Machining parts and components for the Formula 1 and Aerospace industries to tight tolerances.
  • Monitor machine operations to ensure adherence to production schedules and quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
  • Working with the Engineering team on both new and existing projects.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience programming, setting up and operating 5-axis CNC milling machinery is required.
  • Previous experience using any kind of CAD/CAM software to program offline is required.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
