Job summary

Omega Resource Group is seeking a CNC Milling Machinist in Gloucester to set up and run milling machines producing precision components for medical, automotive and aerospace sectors.

The role involves reading engineering drawings and CAD data, inspecting parts and completing production records with a focus on quality and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Previous experience setting and operating CNC milling machines (any control system).
• Experience machining plastics advantageous but not essential.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Ability to use measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Set and operate CNC milling machines to manufacture precision components.
• Work from engineering drawings, CAD data, and written instructions.
• Machine a variety of materials including acrylics, polycarbonates, and other engineering plastics.
• Use inspection and measuring equipment to ensure components meet required tolerances.

Salary: £37,000

Type: Perm - Double Days week 1 6:00 m to 02:00 pm Monday to Friday and week 2 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm

My client, a well-established specialist in machining manufacturing business currently looking for CNC Milling Machinist to support the production of high-quality, bespoke medical, automotive and aerospace components.
