Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled CNC Milling Machinist with hands-on experience operating and programming Fanuc OR Haas-controlled machines. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC milling machines to produce precision components according to engineering drawings and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate CNC milling machines with Fanuc and Haas controls
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions
  • Load materials and tooling, set tool offsets, and perform initial test runs
  • Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
  • Make program edits and adjustments as needed to maintain quality and efficiency
  • Perform routine maintenance on machines and tools
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area in compliance with company safety policies
  • Collaborate with engineers and production staff to resolve machining issues

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of G-code and CNC programming principles
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and schematics
  • Proficient with precision measurement tools
  • Knowledge of shop math (geometry, trigonometry)
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical/trade certification a plus

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with multi-axis milling (3-axis, 4-axis, or 5-axis)
  • Familiarity with CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360)
  • Experience in a job shop or high-precision manufacturing environment
