Job summary

Nicholas Associates Group Limited is seeking a CNC Miller for a permanent role near Beeston, Nottingham. The job offers flexible shifts, with overtime paid at 1.5x and earnings of £40,000+ per year depending on hours and overtime.

The ideal candidate will read drawings, work with Hurco, Haas, Mazak, Fanuc, Heidenhain and Siemens controls, and have prior CNC milling experience. Beeston area and surrounding commutes encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Ability to read engineering drawings.
• Previous CNC milling experience essential or beneficial.
• Programming from drawings online at the machine may be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC milling machines to tight tolerances.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings to manufacture parts.
• Maintain quality, productivity and housekeeping on the shop floor.

Job description

The Basics:

Role: CNC Miller

Position: Permanent

Location: Near Beeston - Nottingham

Salary:

Up to £19 per hour + OT (paid at 1.5) = earnings of £40,000 and upwards.

Shift choice available:

Hours: Flex - Monday to Thursday (8hrs) start time between 7.00am and 8.30am and Fridays (6hrs) start time between 7.00am and 8.30am (38hr week)

Or

Monday to Wednesday 4pm to 2am and Thursdays 4pm to 1am (39hrs)

Holidays and Benefits:

33 days, pension 4% by employer, death in service x2 salary

Overview:

Working in modern, fast paced precision engineering business we now require a CNC Miller to join the team.

The ideal candidate / CNC Miller may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:

• Ability to read engineering drawings
• Experience with Hurco, Haas, Mazak, Fanuc, Heidenhain & Siemens all considered.
• Previous CNC Milling experience - programming from drawings online at the machine beneficial.

Beeston, Nottingham, Long Eaton, Beeston and surrounding areas.
