Job description

CNC Miller

Location: Andover

Salary: £16-£18 per hour

Holt Engineering are seeking a couple of skilled CNC Millers to join our growing team in Andover.

As a leading precision engineering company, they specialise in producing high-quality components for various industries and have recently just landed a very large automotive contract.

CNC Miller Responsibilities:

  1. Operating and setting CNC machining centres (Mazak, Heidenhain, Fanuc).
  2. Editing CNC programs.
  3. Producing high-precision components to tight tolerances.
  4. Ensuring quality standards and meeting production deadlines.
  5. Collaborating with the team to achieve production goals.
  6. Maintaining and troubleshooting CNC machines.

CNC Miller Requirements:
  1. Proven experience in CNC machining, preferably with Mazak, Heidenhain, and Fanuc controls.
  2. Proficient in offsets and tooling changes.
  3. Strong understanding of machining processes and materials.
  4. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  5. Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  6. Willingness to work overtime as needed.
