Qualifications

• Apprenticeship programme with on-the-job and college training.

Responsibilities

• Final preparation of patterns, moulds and castings.
• Carrying out Melt-Out processes per defined procedures.
• Using hand tools, small air tools and abrasive paper safely.
• Preparing components and tooling for subsequent manufacturing processes.
• Inspecting work to ensure quality standards are met.
• Reading and understanding engineering drawings and process instructions.
• Checking route card instructions and reporting discrepancies.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.
• Developing practical skills within CNC department.
• Supporting CNC team with preparation of patterns, moulds, tooling and components.
• Following health, safety and quality procedures.
