Job summary

Nicholas Associates Group is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer - CNC Machining near Alfreton to join a precision engineering environment. You will manage customer projects from start to finish, shaping manufacturing routes and liaising with internal teams and external resources to meet timelines and budgets.

The role emphasizes CNC and manual machining knowledge, reading drawings, and ERP/MRP system usage. UK national security clearance and a proactive, detail-oriented mindset are valued.

Qualifications

Qualified to HNC level.
Ability to read manufacturing drawings and break out operations.
Experience with CNC machining, manual machining and fabrication.
Competence in Office tools including Excel, Word and Project.
Good knowledge of MRP/ERP systems and using them in manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

Manage projects from start to finish and ensure on-time delivery and budget adherence.
Create manufacturing route cards to determine best fabrication methods.
Coordinate with internal departments and external resources as needed.
Some offline programming and process improvement opportunities.
