Mechanical Maintenance Technician - Field-Based

Location: Covering the North of the UK

Salary: £26,000 - £33,000 (depending on experience) + Guaranteed Bonus (£6,000 - £8,500)

The Opportunity

We're looking for a mechanically-minded maintenance technician to join our client's expanding field team. Whether you're hands-on with machinery, experienced in mechanical maintenance, or currently in a workshop role and ready to step into the field, this role offers a genuine route into service engineering with full professional training.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Carrying out servicing, maintenance, and fault-finding on CNC machinery at customer sites
  • Delivering high levels of customer service while identifying and resolving technical issues
  • Managing your own workload across the region, travelling to different client locations
  • Looking after the tools, equipment, and vehicle provided to you
What We're Looking For
  • Experience with mechanical systems or machine operation (field service experience is a bonus)
  • Solid fault-finding and problem-solving skills
  • A proactive, self-sufficient approach to your work
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Comfortable with travel and working independently in the field
