Job Description:

CNC Maintenance Engineer - Multiskilled

We are seeking an experienced and multi-skilled CNC Maintenance Engineer to work on new machines and develop robot automation expertise. Training on robots will be provided if not currently experienced.

The ideal candidate works for a component manufacturer with numerous CNC machines and can repair them independently.

  • Working on brand new CNC machines and robots
  • No travel required
  • No overnight stays
  • 38 hours per week, days

The role involves installing, testing, and commissioning new CNC machines and robots before shipment to customers.

The Role:

  • Install and commission CNC machines and robots in factory and showroom settings
  • Fault diagnosis, mechanical and electrical interface work
  • Configure machines and programs
  • Conduct testing and document results
  • Write Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Working hours: Monday - Thursday 8:30am - 5:00pm, Friday 8:30am - 3:00pm

Requirements:

  • Essential electrical knowledge
