Qualifications

• Experience in maintaining and repairing CNC machines.
• Knowledge of Total Preventative Maintenance schedules.

Certified IEE 18 Edition Wiring Regulations

Forklift Licence

Job description

Join us on this mission as a CNC Maintenance Engineer with a global leader in the Aviation & Aerospace sector.

The purpose of the role is to carry out maintenance and repair of all CNC machines and equipment within the Machine Shop to minimize downtime and meet production targets.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Follow Total Preventative Maintenance schedules for machines and equipment.
2. Replace worn parts and wiring according to machine manuals and specifications.
3. Repair machines and equipment, bringing in external suppliers as needed.
4. Transport materials and finished parts using a forklift truck and lifting equipment.

Characteristics & Skills

• Certified IEE 18 Edition Wiring Regulations
• Forklift Licence
• Proficiency with hand tools and testers
• Experience working with manufacturing CNC machine tools, including 4 and 5 axis machining centres and CNC turning machines
• Grade Pass in GCSE Maths/English or equivalent
• Manual dexterity
