Job description

CNC Maintenance Engineer

A role has arisen for an experienced CNC Engineer. The role would suit a CNC Maintenance Engineer or a CNC Service Engineer or CNC machine tool fitter/assembler with electrical knowledge.

• Working on brand new CNC machines
• No travel
• No staying away
• 38 hours week

The role involves installing, testing and running up new CNC machines before being shipped to the customer.

The Role

• Install CNC machines in factory and showroom
• Faultfinding, mechanical and electrical interface work
• Carry out test procedures and document findings
• Write SOPs
• Monday - Thursday 8:30am - 5:00pm
  Friday 8:30am - 3:00pm

Requirements

• Engineering HNC and Modern Apprenticeship
• Electrical knowledge
• Fault finding, reading engineering drawings
• Knowledge of one or more of the following controls: Fanuc / Siemens / Heidenhain
• You will likely CNC service engineer, CNC fitter assembler or CNC maintenance engineer or possibly a Programmer if electrical background.
• Live locally already.
