Job description

Maxwell Consultancy are working with a leading engineering business in Glasgow who require CNC Millers and Turners. The business has been going from strength to strength in recent times with these newly created positions. 4 day working week with option to rotate between day and night shift.

What's required?

• Time served machinist or extensive experience working as machinist
• Setting and operating
• Working within 3/4/5 axis cells
• FANUC or Siemens control panels (other controls considered)
• Produce right first-time components, from customer’s drawings, to required cycle times
• Maintain a cost-effective standard of production. • Improve production/manufacturing methods.
• Liaise effectively with other members of the department and company.
• Comply with Company’s Health & Safety and Environmental requirements.

What to expect?

• £19.50 to £20 per hour
• Full training provided to carry out the job efficiently and effectively
• 4 day working week
