CNC Machinist / Turner / Programme Setter Operator with relevant production experience in a machining environment, programming and operating equipment, who is reliable, driven and has the working ethic to solve problems is required for a well-established, precision engineering company based in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk.

SALARY: £39,697 per annum (20.09 per hour) + Overtime

BENEFITS: 23 days annual holiday allowance plus Bank Holidays, birthday leave, wellbeing day, Christmas Eve leave, excellent overtime rates, contributory pension scheme, life insurance, occupational health screening

LOCATION: Great Yarmouth, Norfolk (NR31)

JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent

WORKING HOURS: 38 Hours per Week (early finish on Friday)

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

The CNC Machinist / Turner / Programme Setter Operator will have the following:

1. The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. Working to tight tolerances.
2. Dynamic and capable of meeting challenging deadlines within a fast-paced environment.
3. Competent on all aspects of setting tools, including having an understanding of cutting speeds and feeds.
4. Strong experience using measurement/inspection equipment including verniers, bore gauges, micrometres etc.
5. Carry out deburring of machined components during production cycles ensuring minimal disruption to production.
6. Preferably have experience of programming and operating Mazatrol machines.
7. Have a positive and practical aptitude.
8. Quick and methodical.
