Job summary

Cummins Inc. seeks a Manufacturing Operator to support the Blockline in Daventry, Northamptonshire. You will operate CNC machines, work to production targets, and help maintain safety and quality across a two-shift pattern.

The role is a temporary contract up to 24 months, with potential extension based on performance and business needs. Training is provided for CNC operations within a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with strong maths and technical skills.
• Vocational/technical training in CNC machining or engineering is highly advantageous.
• Experience operating CNC machines in automotive or engineering settings preferred; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines and production equipment safely to meet quality targets.
• Work to production targets and cycle times in a 37.5-hour week.
• Support both shift rotations and maintain clean, safe work areas.
• Follow quality controls and SPC to minimise costs and defects.
