Job summary

Matchtech in Farnborough is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist/Operator for a permanent role within a highly regulated aerospace manufacturing environment. You will programme, set and operate CNC tools, including DMG MORI Sprint 32 Sliding Head machines, using FANUC controls to produce aerospace components to exacting standards.

The role offers a permanent position with a salary up to £40,000 plus a 25% shift allowance, with training and development opportunities to advance your skills within

Qualifications

• Sliding Head CNC machining experience.
• Experience with FANUC control systems.
• Ability to programme, set and operate CNC machinery independently.
• Milling and/or Turning experience.
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Programme, set and operate CNC machine tools.
• Run DMG MORI Sprint 32 Sliding Head machines.
• Work with FANUC control systems.
• Machine aerospace super alloys and precision components.
• Maintain production output and cycle times.
• Complete all associated production documentation.
• Carry out TPM and 5S activities.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with the wider manufacturing team to meet quality and efficiency targets.
• Opportunity to develop skills through CNC Grinding training.
