I am currently recruiting a CNC Machinist on behalf of a client of mine. This client is a leading manufacturer supplying high-tech components to a large variety of industries - from vacuums to nanoscience. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating Mazak CNC machines.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Set and operate a range of CNC machines (lathes, milling machines, and inspection equipment).
• Program CNC machines with the ability to understand technical drawings to inform programming and to fault-find where necessary.
• Working with a range of materials, primarily stainless steel.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• Experience with MAZAK Mazatrol system is essential.
• A recognised apprenticeship qualification in machining/turning/milling.
• At least 3 years' experience working within a CNC role.
• It is advantageous to have experience with CAD.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
