Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a CNC Machinist in Aberdeen for a stable, days-based role with ample overtime opportunities. You will set, operate, and program milling machines and lathes, producing mild steel and aluminium parts for varied industries.

The role offers a 39-hour, Monday–Friday daytime schedule with overtime paid at time and a half. A well-established specialist engineering and fabrication company supports long-term career growth and a friendly, well-organised shop floor.

Qualifications

• Experience setting, operating and programming milling machines or lathes.
• Experience with CNC programming and setups.
• Willingness to work a daytime, Monday–Friday shift.

Responsibilities

• Setting, operating, and programming milling machines and lathes (equal split).
• Manufacture mild steel and aluminium components.
• Training available on milling machines or lathes.
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 6am–2pm (39 hours/week).
