Job Purpose:

This role involves machining aircraft components based on engineering drawings, working on a rotating shift pattern (4 days on, 4 days off, days and nights).

Key Responsibilities:

• Loading and unloading machining fixtures
• Setting up Five Axis and Three Axis CNC Machines
• Using measuring equipment such as micrometers, Vernier gauges, plug gauges, screw gauges, and ring gauges
• Performing regular maintenance and cleaning of machines and tools
• Understanding CNC programming
• Interpreting drawings and geometric tolerances
• Experience with Fanuc controllers is beneficial

Experience:

• Prior CNC machining experience
• Experience working with ISO9001 or AS/EN9100 standards
• Experience in aerospace, defence, or automotive sectors

Qualifications:

• Time Served Apprenticeship (desired)
