Job description

Job Title: Skilled Machinist
Location: Onsite, Todmorden
Salary: £37,805

Purpose of Role:
Time Recruitment Solutions are currently in search of an experienced Skilled Machinist to operate CNC vertical borers and additional machinery. The role entails machining diverse components working with materials such as:

  1. Chrome Irons
  2. SG Irons
This would also be utilizing Fanuc Controls within a medium to heavy setting.

Operators will be tasked with manufacturing components to precise specifications, maintaining a high standard of quality while prioritizing safety. They must also be proficient in editing programs and adjusting tool settings.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:
  1. Completed apprenticeship in relevant sector.
  2. Experience in CNC machining is essential.
  3. Experience machining castings is desirable.
  4. Background in heavy engineering.
  5. Proven track record of machining parts to precise specifications.
  6. Knowledgeable in programming.

Compensation:
  1. Competitive skilled rate.
  2. Shift premium.
  3. 37 Hours based on site.
  4. 25 Days holiday plus 8 statutory days.
  5. Employee perk scheme (Perkbox) access.
  6. Any further training will be provided if required.
