Job summary

RETAIND Ltd in Tamworth, Staffordshire, is hiring a skilled CNC Machinist to programme, set and operate CNC milling and turning machines. You will produce one-off and prototype parts to engineering drawings, select tooling, and inspect components to ensure quality.

Working hours are Monday to Thursday 8.30am–4.30pm and Friday 8.30am–2.30pm, with a permanent daytime shift and an earlier finish on Fridays. Experience with Hurco controls is desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience programming, setting and operating CNC machinery.
• Background in milling and turning, ideally with Hurco experience.
• Confident reading engineering drawings and tolerances.
• Experience producing one-off, prototype or small-batch components.
• Practical problem-solving and ability to work independently.

Permanent position | Day Shift

RETAIND are recruiting for an experienced CNC Machinist to join an established company, manufacturing of mechanical equipment used within the construction sector.

The role:

• Programme, set and operate CNC milling and turning machinery.
• Produce one-off and prototype parts to engineering drawings and specifications.
• Select suitable tooling and machining methods for each job.
• Inspect finished components to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working area.

About you:
