Job Title: CNC Machinist
Location: Swansea SA4
Shift: Monday to Thursday 8am – 4.30pm/ Friday 8am – 13.45pm
Salary: 33k – 34.5k

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically skilled, and capable of setting up and operating CNC machines to produce precision parts according to specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up, operate, and maintain CNC mills, lathes, or other machining centres.
  • Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions.
  • Perform quality checks using precision measuring instruments (callipers, micrometres, gauges).
  • Adjust machine settings to ensure optimal performance and part quality.
  • Troubleshoot and correct machining issues during the production run.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area.
  • Follow safety procedures and company policies at all times.

Skills:

  • 2+ years of CNC machining experience (or equivalent apprenticeship).
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and GD&T.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Basic computer skills; experience with CNC software preferred.
