Adept Resourcing are proud to be working with a long-established precision engineering company based in the heart of Sheffield. We are currently looking to recruit a Skilled CNC Machinist/Operator to join their growing team within the Machine Shop department.

This is a highly skilled role offering long-term career security and excellent working conditions in a clean, well-equipped workshop. The successful candidate will play a key role in producing high-quality machined components for demanding environments where precision, quality, and reliability are critical.

Key Responsibilities:

• Programming, setting, and operating multi-axis and/or twin spindle CNC machines.

• Producing high-quality parts to tight tolerances in a timely and efficient manner.

• Working from engineering drawings and using precision measuring instruments to verify accuracy.

• Planning and prioritising workloads with minimal supervision.

• Maintaining a strong awareness of health, safety, and environmental responsibilities.

Key Requirements:

• Time-served CNC Machinist with strong experience in programming, setting, and operating CNC machines.

• Knowledge of Fanuc controls

• Confident in reading and interpreting detailed engineering drawings.

• Experience working to tight tolerances across a range of materials.

• Background in subcontract machining or aerospace (desirable).

• Knowledge or interest in lean manufacturing and value engineering is a plus.

Hours:
Monday to Friday - 37 hours per week
Early finish on Friday

Salary:
17.50 - 20.50 per hour, dependent on experience
