Orion Electrotech Ltd is seeking a CNC Machinist to operate modern CNC machinery and produce precision components in a busy production environment. The role focuses on machining and quality control without programming or machine setting responsibilities.

You will run production batches, perform in-process inspections, and read engineering drawings while maintaining high standards of quality and workplace safety.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as CNC Machinist, CNC Operator or Production Machinist.
• Experience within a precision engineering or manufacturing environment.
• Understanding of engineering drawings.
• Ability to use measuring equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machinery to manufacture precision-engineered components.
• Run production batches once machines have been set by experienced engineers.
• Carry out in-process inspections and measurements.
• Use micrometers, verniers and gauges.
• Read engineering drawings and ensure quality throughout production.
• Support a clean, safe and efficient workshop environment.

We're recruiting for a CNC Machinist to join a well-established precision engineering business with a modern manufacturing environment and a strong pipeline of work.

This CNC Machinist opportunity would suit someone who enjoys working with CNC machinery, maintaining quality standards and being part of a busy production team. The successful CNC Machinist will run production batches on advanced CNC equipment, carry out quality inspections and help ensure customer orders are delivered to the highest standard.

What You'll Be Doing

• Operating CNC machinery to manufacture precision-engineered components
• Running production batches once machines have been set by experienced engineers
• Carrying out in-process inspections and measurements
• Using micrometers, verniers and gauges
• Reading engineering drawings
• Monitoring quality throughout productionWorking across different machines as required
• Supporting a clean, safe and efficient workshop environment

What We're Looking For
