Job Title: CNC Machinist

Summary: As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up and operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines to produce high-quality parts and components. Your work will be instrumental in ensuring the success of our manufacturing operations. Machining employees ensure doors, jambs, and parts are built and machined properly to meet specifications found on production paperwork.

Highlights of the role:
  • Visually inspect jamb parts to ensure quality of product and notify lead of unacceptable quality.
  • Properly set up Jet 7000 machine for daily workflow by utilizing production paperwork.
  • Select materials to be machined by prioritizing load dates and machining requirements.
  • Perform machine checks to verify proper setup.
  • Operate and maintain machinery following specific instructions from machining & jamb lead.
  • Readies all jamb parts per instructions on production paperwork.
  • Ensure all door parts are accounted for, are the correct wood species, and are manufactured to requirements on production paperwork.
  • Utilize machinery to prepare jambs for final assembly.
  • Complete rework/remake tickets as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • HS Diploma or GED
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, time management, teamwork, problem-solving skills, and high attention to detail.

  • Strong time management and focus skills.
