• Location: Liss, Hampshire
• Salary: £38k
• Hours of Work: 38.75 hours per week - no weekends

Our client, an international racing, classic, and motorsport automotive specialist, has been a pillar of the automotive community for over 20 years. Operating from a dedicated site in Liss for the past eight years, the business excels in:

• Parts manufacturing and supply (boasting the world’s largest stock of specialist classic car parts)
• Workshop services including servicing, restoring, and rally preparation
• Classic, Vintage, and Historic Vehicle sales and sourcing

They are seeking an experienced Automotive CNC Machinist to join their production team. The CNC Machinist will play a critical role in producing high-precision components for automotive restoration, maintenance, and customization, ensuring each part meets strict standards.

Key duties include:

• Program, set, and operate a Haas CNC 4-axis turning centre
• Set existing programs and create/validate new ones under guidance

Key responsibilities:

• Operate CNC machinery to produce components with precise tolerances
• Inspect work quality and communicate issues
• Develop and maintain CNC programs
• Operate additional machinery and manual tools as needed
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment
• Perform workshop tasks like material handling and finishing
• Collaborate with the team on manufacturing schedules
• Keep accurate production records

Experience and skills required:

• CNC programming, setting, and operation experience
• Strong organizational skills
• Proactive attitude and initiative

Automotive experience:

• Minimum 2-3 years in a similar role
