A leading engineering recruitment agency is seeking a CNC Machinist for a manufacturing firm in Oldham. The ideal candidate will set and operate CNC Mills and Lathes, follow engineering drawings, and ensure quality standards. The role offers a competitive pay rate of £18.00 - £19.00 per hour and operates from Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Experience with CNC machining is required.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines and follow health & safety regulations.
• Experience with engineering drawings and inspection of parts.

Responsibilities

• Set, operate and program CNC Mills and Lathes.
• Follow engineering drawings to machine parts.
• Inspect finished parts and carry out routine checks.

Job Role: CNC Machinist

Salary: 18.00 - 19.00 per hour

Metalis are currently working with a manufacturer, who are looking for CNC Machinists to join their team.

Job Duties:

• Set, operate and program CNC Mills and Lathes
• Follow engineering drawings to machine parts and components
• Inspect finished parts
• Carry out routine checks on machines
• Work to tight deadlines and adhere to Health & Safety at all times
• Meet production and quality out levels and standards

Job Requirements:

• Experience with Haas machines
• Able to set, operate and program CNC Mills and/or Lathes

Salary & Shift:

• 18.00 - 19.00 per hour
• Monday - Thursday, 7:45am - 5pm & Friday, 7:30am - 2pm
