Job description

My client is a small precision engineering business based in Dudley. They are currently looking to add a CNC Machinist to their team. Established for over 30 years and producing precision parts to a variety of industries ranging from Aerospace to rail.

They are looking for either someone who may have recently completed an apprenticeship and now looking to take their next step or a time served engineer.

Offering a multitude of services including CNC Milling/Turning, Toolmaking, Grinding. They can offer the right candidate a chance to have a real variety of work on a daily basis. They make prototypes and small batches of up to 10 offs.

Duties for CNC Miller Setter include:

• Programming/setting/operating of XYZ PROTRAKS AND PROTURNS
• Manual Milling and Turning
• Read from engineering drawings
• Quality check parts produced

This is working on Days with opportunity of overtime.
