CNC Machinist

We are recruiting for a CNC Manual Machinist to work for an aerospace company based in Derby. Our client is experiencing increased demand for their services and is now looking for skilled CNC Manual Machinists to join their team.

Shift Patterns / Working Hours:
  1. Monday to Thursday: 7:00am to 3:30pm
  2. Friday: 7:00am to 1:00pm
The successful CNC Manual Machinist will:
  • Have experience operating lathes, milling machines, grinders, and CNC machines (3 and 5 axis)
  • Ideally have experience machining small components with high precision
  • Display a positive, can-do attitude
Your duties will include:
  • Producing high-quality bespoke one-off tools using lathes, milling machines, grinders, and CNC machinery
  • Programming, setting, and operating CNC machines
  • Manufacturing jigs and fixtures
  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and conducting first-off inspections
Compensation and Benefits:
  • £18.50 per hour
  • Time and a half after 38 hours worked per week
