When you join as a CNC Machinist at Rolls-Royce Submarines in Raynesway, you will play a key role in delivering high-precision components critical to our national defence programmes. What You Will Be Doing

With this attractive opportunity you will get a chance to:

  • Operate a range of 3- and 5-axis CNC machinery using Siemens, Heidenhain, and Mazatrol controls.
  • Interpret engineering drawings and follow Technical Instructions with a high level of precision.
  • Use advanced inspection tools including probing systems, micrometers, and other metrology equipment to ensure quality standards.
  • Collaborate with your team to troubleshoot quality issues and ensure smooth delivery of machined components.

  • Have proven experience in CNC machining, including setting and operating.
  • Hold a time-served engineering apprenticeship with an NVQ/SVQ Level 3 qualification (or equivalent).
  • Demonstrate attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Be capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Be proactive, patient, and able to manage your time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
