A leading manufacturing client in Brackley is seeking a CNC Machinist for a permanent position. The role includes setting up and operating advanced CNC machines, machining various materials, and ensuring high-precision work. Full training will be provided for programming skills. Ideal candidates will have experience in CNC machining and technical drawing interpretation.

Qualifications

• Experience in setting up and operating CNC machines.
• Ability to work with various materials like Aluminium and Carbon fibre.
• Strong understanding of technical drawings and accuracy in machining.

Responsibilities

• Setting up and running of Haas VMS and other CNC machines.
• Machining patterns and moulds for carbon fibre components.
• Measuring machined parts to ensure accuracy.

Job description

We are currently recruiting for a CNC Machinist to work with our advanced motorsport manufacturing client in Brackley on a permanent basis.

Days: Monday - Friday 07:00-16:30

Key Responsibilities:

- Setting up and running of Haas VMS with trunnion, UMC750, Bridgeports and CMS Ares 5 axis CNC machines.

- Machining of patterns, moulds and component trimming for carbon fibre components.

- The machining of different types of material including Tooling board, Aluminium, MCP and Carbon fibre.

- Using Haas, Heidenhain and Fanuc controls effectively.

- Using Setup sheets and drawings to machine various parts to a high level of accuracy, to tight deadlines with minimum supervision.

- Measure all the parts machined to drawings.
