CNC Machinist

Remit:

• Responsible for CNC machines and workload for tool making and second operations on plastic commodities.
• Previous injection mould tooling experience required, competent with CNC milling machines, able to work independently within a small tooling team.
• This role suits a skilled CNC Machinist/Programmer interested in working within a team that values its staff.

Role:

• Operate CNC milling machines
• Use conventional toolroom machinery; surface grinders are a plus but not essential.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, eager to learn and develop skills; opportunity for growth, stability, and security.

Experience Requirements:

• Engineering qualification or apprenticeship
• Essential CNC milling experience, working to general engineering tolerances
• Enthusiastic, self-motivated, able to work independently or in a small team
• Knowledge of safe operation of toolroom equipment and machinery
• Ability to interpret 2D and 3D engineering drawings
• Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
