CNC Machine Shop Supervisor - Day Shift

Our client based in West Bromwich would like to recruit an experienced CNC Machine Shop Supervisor. The successful candidate must be able to supervise a team of people responsible for operating CNC lathes and Vertical Millers preferably Mazak, and Fanuc controlled Robo Drills

Responsibilities:

- Communicate effectively with staff, customers, and suppliers
- Manage a team of people, providing guidance, training and support
- Implement strategies to achieve better efficiency and increase production
- Maintain inventory levels and oversee stock ordering
- Ensure the shop is clean, organised, and visually appealing
- Utilise phone etiquette when dealing with customer inquiries
- Control tooling for the best performance and efficiency

Requirements:

- Proven experience of Supervising a machine shop
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to manage a diverse team effectively
- Control tooling layouts
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
