Job summary

Pertemps Bond is seeking an experienced CNC Machine Operator to join the Northampton production team in a long-term, permanent role. You will operate CNC machinery and saw equipment, following customer specifications and drawings to produce high-quality bespoke parts.

Working in a busy modern environment, you will set up tooling and programs, read technical drawings, measure precisely, inspect quality, minimise waste, and support other production activities as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience operating CNC machinery in a manufacturing setting.
• Experience setting and adjusting CNC machines.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good numerical and measuring skills.
• Experience with CAD/CAM software is advantageous.
• Proactive attitude; able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC routers and saw machinery safely and efficiently.
• Set up machinery, tooling and programmes for production runs.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Accurately measure, cut and prepare materials to required standards.

Salary: £30,000 - £38,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

About the Role

A well-established and growing manufacturer is seeking an experienced CNC Machine Operator to join its production team in Northampton. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a long-term permanent position with a successful business that specialises in the manufacture of high-quality bespoke products.

Working Hours

Monday to Thursday: 07:30am - 6:00pm

Friday: 07:30am - 4:00pm
