Job summary

Swift Temps Ltd. is seeking a reliable CNC Machine Operator in Coventry to join our manufacturing team. This full-time, ongoing role offers a temp-to-perm path with an immediate start for suitable candidates.

Hours are 07:00–16:00 Monday-Thursday and 07:00–11:00 on Friday, with a pay rate of £12.71 per hour. The role requires experience operating Fanuc-controlled CNC machines or CNC milling machines, the ability to read engineering drawings, and a commitment to producing high-quality work.

Qualifications

• Experience operating Fanuc CNC machines or CNC milling machines.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines safely and efficiently.
• Run Fanuc-controlled CNC machinery or CNC milling machines.
• Load and unload materials and components.
• Monitor machining processes and make basic adjustments as required.
• Inspect finished parts using measuring equipment to ensure quality standards are met.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and job specifications.
• Carry out routine machine maintenance and keep work areas clean and tidy.
• Follow all Health & Safety procedures and company policies.
