Job description

CNC Lathe Setter Operator

We are seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Setter/Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team at Brennan Inc UK. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and experience operating CNC lathes, preferably within an Aerospace environment. This role involves precision machining of components, ensuring adherence to specifications and quality standards.

Responsibilities

1. Set & operate CNC lathes to produce high-quality components according to technical drawings and specifications.
2. Set up and adjust machines, including loading materials and selecting appropriate tools.
3. Monitor machine operations, making adjustments as necessary to maintain quality standards.
4. Conduct routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot issues during production.
5. Collaborate with team members to improve production efficiency and implement best practices in machining processes.
6. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations.

Experience and Qualifications

• Proven experience setting & operating CNC lathes in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical knowledge, including the ability to read technical drawings and data sheets.
• Experience with Citizen Miyano, Cincinnati Lamb, Hawk & Falcons, Doosan Lynx machinery is advantageous.
• Experience in an AS9100 certified company is a plus.

Work Details

Hours: 38 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 7:30-16:30 (30 mins lunch), Friday 7:30-11:30.

Pay: £25,000 – £38,000 per annum, depending on experience.
