Job Description

Teledyne Valeport is a world leader in designing and manufacturing monitoring instruments for offshore, environmental, water treatment, and water distribution markets. Due to increasing demand and an expanding product range, we are hiring a fully experienced CNC Lathe Programmer/Operator for our modern, well-equipped Machine Shop.


All applicants should be comfortable working in a team environment and willing to adhere to our Quality, Environmental, and Health & Safety policies.

Main Duties Include
  1. Write programs for machining parts/components and organize them systematically and efficiently.
  2. Machine parts and components to defined specifications in a timely manner, including prototypes, pre-production, and one-off products.
  3. Perform 'First off' and 'Post-Production' inspections, including dimensional and surface finish checks.
  4. Implement corrective actions to resolve technical, timescale, or quality issues within the department.
  5. Complete and maintain tracking/build documentation to monitor the status of Works Orders in the Machine Shop.
Experience And Qualifications
  • Experience with Fanuc 21iT and/or Siemens 828D controls, for small/medium batch work on Hardinge, Doosan, and Colchester lathes.
